Hello! Thanks for finding me here! I figured I would finally write a little intro, in case people that don’t already know me are finding their way to this blog. My name is Lauren Deibel Noonan, and simply put, I’m just a woman trying to live in a meaningful way and make the most out of this particular lifetime. I am currently based out of Atlanta, GA where I was born and raised, but I spent some very formative years in Wilmington, NC (which is where I truly feel at home). I have been married to my husband Matt for what will be 10 years this year. what ?! We have been together for the majority of our lives, and have seen our share of good and bad times. We are still committed to navigating this life together, and are constantly working on ourselves and our relationship. We have three badass kids.. Isabelle (7), Henry (5), and Jack (2). Read some of the blog entries and you will get to know their unique little selves quite quickly. They are amazing little humans and I feel honored to be the mother of these wildlings. We have a husky/wolf hybrid, Timber, a mutt of a cat, Mo, a backyard full of chickens, and a 70 gallon tank that houses some fish and our turtle, Rocky. The latest addition (by demand of Izzy) is a fancy hamster, George. How do we keep up with everyone? I’m not really sure, maybe we don’t entirely. In my professional life I spent the last 10 years as a labor and delivery nurse, but I recently stepped away from that role. Traveling, being outside, meeting new people, and having new experiences fuels my soul. I love my family and friends deeply and cherish meaningful relationships with loved ones. I have a notes file on my phone of “My favorite things” that I am always adding to… so in the name of a cheesy intro blurb.. here are some of them…. : moss, moons, tides, wind, hard-back books, anything that twinkles (candles, fireflies, stars, party lights, bioluminescent algae, fires), long dresses, all bodies of water, dark chocolate, wildflowers, trees, a mug with something warm in it, colors, and painting. I guess I’m pretty basic. lol. I’ve also learned this year that I love to write! My mind is consumed with trying to figure out how to save our poor planet….. and humanity in general…. so if anyone has those impossible answers, please do share! When COVID-19 landed in the US, it was catalyst to great changes in our lives and family structure. We decided to move the family into an RV and then eventually relocate to Colorado. I am using this platform to share our adventures. I hope you enjoy following along!
